TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS - Observing Excellence Redefined
Base Frame : Our observatory’s foundation is crafted with precision, utilizing specially formed heavy-duty tubes with bottom stiffeners. Each element is treated and meticulously painted for durability and longevity.
Top Frame : The top frame is constructed using square CRCA (Cold Rolled Close Annealed) tubes to ensure structural integrity and support.
Side Post : Specially designed tube post sections are incorporated into the observatory’s structure to enhance stability and robustness.
Side Wall Stiffener : CRCA tubing is employed to create sturdy side wall stiffeners, contributing to the overall strength of the observatory.
Outer and Internal Wall Paneling : Our observatory features FRP (Fiber-Reinforced Polymer) molded paneling, produced through compression molding using high-quality raw materials. This paneling ensures both external resilience and internal protection.
Dome : The observatory dome is a masterpiece of engineering, crafted as a single piece with a hemisphere design. It’s equipped with motorized and electrically operated forward and reverse movement, driven by a 3-phase motor and a Reduction Gear Box for unparalleled precision. A manual sliding shutter, heavy-duty German slider with locking, and 100% waterproofing make it a marvel of functionality.
Main Door : The main door is constructed with GRP (Glass Reinforced Plastic) sandwiched insulation, complete with standard fittings like hinges, hold drafts, tower bolts, and a night latch for secure and efficient operation.
Insulation : High-density EPS (Expanded Polystyrene) insulation is integrated into the side walls of the observatory, ensuring stable interior temperatures and protection from external elements.
Wiring : The internal wiring, supplied by SI, uses Poly Cab/Finolex PVC insulated copper wires with FR-grade insulation. Wiring connections to all points are expertly handled by your electrician for safety and efficiency.
Electrical Fittings : Our observatory comes equipped with red and white LED bulbs, switches, sockets, plug points, a wall-mounted fan, a main switch, and MCB (Miniature Circuit Breaker) at the input junction, providing a complete and comfortable electrical setup.
Outer Panel Painting : The exterior panels are meticulously painted, starting with a primer and two coats of textured paint in the color of your choice. This not only enhances the observatory’s aesthetics but also ensures long-lasting protection against the elements.
